Monday

Back at “the office” aka Starbucks, braved myself out yet another winter day. Through learning, I now wear warmer clothes than usual winters. Proud that I wear actual wool stockings for a change. More so, having on a warm sweater and a warm jacket. Winter is indeed more pleasant when I don´t freeze.

There is a huge decorated Christmas tree, in my eye-sight at the moment. Frankly, it´s dawning on me that December is written. For years, I kept an advent calendar (that my mom made to me), counting down to the big day. I don´t miss the calendar one bit, as I enjoy Christmas more without. Can enjoy each day without the thought that Christmas Eve is one day closer. For you, here is an image I found that makes winter looks charming. Do you have an advent calendar?

VB/DB

Happy Friday everybody! Any excuse to feature David Beckham, yes please! His handsome self and Victoria are mighty awesome on the Vogue Paris December/January cover. I don´t have pierced ears, but Victoria wears a couple of elegant pairs, clip-ons perhaps could work in my case. Can look at them and the covers all weekend, they are just too great. What do you think?

Cher

Having a vintage Cher day, listening to some of her songs for example “If I Could Turn Back Time.” Powerful one. Nostalgia creeps in, even though I did not experience any of her early career days. Cher was a true fashionista, her 60s and 70s looks are inspirational. I am not particularly keen on the 80s fashion to be honest, since I like to keep fashion more low-key and natural.

Her long hair, total envy and the bangles are really chic. Minor alterations and I could wear such a fab outfit too. The dress is simply pretty. Which decade do you fancy the most?

Just Another Girl

Dianna Agron and The Killers are a match made in heaven. The lyrics and music video has swirled inside repeatedly. This is not just another song!

“All of my friends say I should move on, She’s just another girl, don’t let her stick it to your heart so hard.”

Sweatshirts and Sweatpants

My loungewear is still on, there is something hot in my cup and the sun is in a happy state. In my mind, the perfect day already. Loungewear is highly prioritized, love wearing sweatshirts and baggy sweatpants. Whenever society does not require a specific dress code, I am quick to change into more comfy attire.

Anything that Ani Lorak wears, I´d love to wear too. Her accessories add a chic touch to loungewear. Dressing up comfy clothes, that looks like a lot of fun and something I could do. What do you think?  Image via: cs409030.vk.me, originally printed in: Viva! Ukraine

Congratulations Victoria Beckham on your “Fashion Bambi Award.” You, alongside Eva Padberg, Sylvie van der Vaart and Helene Fischer sparkled at the event, held at the Stagetheater, Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. Robbie Williams was also awarded the Bambi for Entertainment during the show, the Bambi award is Germany´s most prestigious media award, an interesting fact. Which look do you fancy the most?

Faux Fur

While waiting for the first snow, cross my fingers that it won´t come today, coat-looking is a nice preparation. Written about a few coats/parkas prior to this one, and for each one I write about, I get a fragment more ready for winter.

Discovered a rather cool Topshop Removable Faux Fur Zip Detail Coat via Glamour Magazine. Pleased that it´s made with faux fur, not real fur. Also pleased with the color and length. What do you think?

Fantastic Jessica Biel

New week is on. Still, quite pleased with no snow in sight. Frosty streets are however gearing up for the inevitable snow season. The MTV EMAs was on yesterday, was not totally blown away by the fashion so to speak. But congratulations to Thirty Seconds to Mars for winning best alternative.

Jessica Biel surprised me last week with her Chanel dress, at the MoMA 2013 Film Benefit Gala. The fabric and shape were a bit vintage, her clutch was however a modern touch. What do you think? 187049902Image via: styleite.com

Snake Top

“Don´t stop believin`” in edgy sweaters, at least not this one from Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren. I see it with a pair of skinny leather pants (or black non-leather) and wild hair. My only concern is the logo print, to be honest (this goes to stores in general) I prefer logos not affiliated with the store name. Other than that, a cool sweater available for purchase via nelly.com. Your opinion?
