Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014

Thanks to all of you who came to my blog throughout 2013, appreciate the likes and the comments. My page is soon hitting 1900 likes too, I love the messages and feedback. Ideally I wish to answer them all personally, which is my top priority at the moment. Will continue to be so in 2014.

Year 2013 has both been rewarding and challenging. Financially it´s been tight throughout, have learned to save not splurge. Having a rather modest budget has made me shop wiser. Instead of purchasing on impulse, I do a thorough research before heading to the stores. Taking in consideration if the item actually fits into the rest of my wardrobe.

Happy New Year everybody!

Vita Necklace

How was your weekend? I treated myself a new necklace tonight. Have a similar necklace in white, was time for a black version to go with my darker pieces. The Vita Necklace from Second Female is purchased from Never Naked. Got only good things to say about the shop, I know I´ll get the necklace anytime soon. Positive that my new necklace is going to give me just as much joy as the white.

Saw a truly intriguing film yesterday, The Baader Meinhof Complex, about the German terrorist group RAF (Rote Armee Fraktion). The film mainly focused on the RAF first generation, in particular Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin and Ulrike Meinhof. How they played a part of the group´s violence waves between 1970-1972. RAF was dissolved in 1998. I can highly recommend the movie, because it has many aspects that suits a discussion.

Costume

Ate cod tortillas for dinner today, meat has been on the Christmas menu, fish sounded more right today. One Christmas I wanna have wok for dinner, feel that it is a good idea spicing up the traditional meat dishes. For what I like to call a Christmas wok.

Thanks for helping my page grow, nearly 1850 awesome likes. Reading Costume and listening to DJ AKG feat. Sabina Babayeva up next. Got two magazines for the price of one. Hope you are having a nice evening.

All the stores are open again, checking out the sales. Good gift shoppers, makes exchanging (a part from size) unnecessary. Opted for a biker look this rainy, but not chilling Friday. All that´s left is the motorbike including the driver´s permit. Posing next to a motorbike the Joey Tribbiani way, that I can do at this stage. Hard to forget his all-Porsche attire. Happy weekend, are you planning something fun?

Relax

Been in my pajamas all day relaxing, eating candy, playing games, watching a couple of series “The Middle” and “Generation War.” The latter recommended by NetteNestea, a series I have wanted to watch for some time. The series is about five friends in Berlin 1941, facing the hardships of World War Two. One episode watched, two to go. So far, I like the series. What are you doing today? juletre1

Dress and Gifts

Did you get everything that you wished for? I got many fine gifts. Lavender foaming bath from L’OCCITANE, Shea Oil from the Body Shop and a cool top from Saints & Mortals. Got other gifts too. Thankful for all.

The dress I wore was an impulse buy the evening before Christmas Eve, an Oasis faux leather dress. Very happy I bought the dress, I am loving it! Elf with Will Ferrell is on in the background, Will is such a funny guy. IMG_3793copy
