Moods of Norway Karl Johan Opening Day

Some photos from the opening day for a brand new Moods of Norway store at Karl Johan, Oslo.

I wanted to be in time so that I managed to grab a goodie bag, and I was.

There was little room to maneuver inside the store, people everywhere. Met a few familiar faces & the store gets my seal of approval.

Blogging at Glipho

I recently joined Glipho & today I was asked to write about my favorite songs at the moment.

I´ll share the post with you here. What do you think of any of these songs?

1. Ronan Keating – Fires  This song really took me by storm. The opening reminds me of “Runaways” with The Killers. Fortunate that I like that song too. I have always been a rock-n-roller at heart so to hear Ronan with more power is a cup of tea after my own liking.

2.  Ani Lorak – Obnimi Menya This Ukrainian superstar never disappoints. She keeps on releasing hit after hit. This isn´t her newest single, but I need my daily dose. Her energy is contagious and whenever I need an energy boost this is it.
3. The Script – Hall of Fame feat. will.i.am This song has great lyrics that motivates me whenever I need that.  Playing this song I feel I can conquer the world with just about anything. I can be in my own hall of fame if I just believe it hard enough. That´s the essence I get while listening.
4. Timati & La La Land feat. Timbaland & Grooya – Not All About The Money The perfect song for a great workout.  You also just wanna dance to this song on repeat all night long. Timati has been under my radar for a few years now and it´s fun to see how he has evolved.  He has come a long way since his collaboration with Mario Winans on the song “Forever.”
5. Karpe Diem – Her This song is my Norwegian contribution to my Top 5 Songs at the moment. Karpe Diem is by far my favorite band hailing from Norway.  “Her” is one of those songs that reminds me of the diversity of Oslo, Norway. It´s as I am walking in the city while listening.  The guys manage to capture my essence of Oslo. Even though they are known for hip hop their sound evolves & grow.

Superfood

The products I ordered at iherb arrived just a second ago. More sweet almond oil for the skin. Chlorella and Activated Barley are going to be added into smoothies and more.

Being inspired by celebrities to buy these products I am interested to see if they are as good as recommended.

In fact I am going to make a smoothie now to get my first taste of what flavor superfood products comes with. When I read recipes for superfood drinks I have to say I don´t understand half of it. There are so many unfamiliar products I´ve yet to learn about.

Last week I tried to substitute products I lacked because I was so eager to try the recipes. Activated Barley and Barleycup are two totally different products. Anyway I took my chance and added lots of Barley Cup. Resulting it what I believe is the worst smoothie I´ve ever made.

Hopefully these products are going to execute their job in a better way.

Happy Wednesday!

The content is going to be quite similar as the content here at WordPress, however I might write something exclusively for the Norwegian blog.

I am going to continue writing about music, fashion, workout and food. If you are Norwegian I´d be happy if you checked out my newly launched sister blog.

Happy Tuesday. I have been running outside in the cold fall weather today.

Sweet almond oil for the skin

Good Friday. For me it´s a rather cold one, and that´s why I perhaps plan on a workout indoors. I usually run before doing my planned activities. What motivates me to workout on days when I don´t have the right energy are goals.

I googled my dream body to find a picture of it. Whenever I don´t feel like working out I look at it as a reminder.

A product I´ve come to love is this sweet almond oil from Now Solutions. I used to have flakey and dry skin, my skin had a hard time absorbing moisturizer. That´s why I am so satisfied with this product, I apply a gentle amount on a cotton pad to my face every night. Takes time to transform dry skin to healthy. But I can sense and see a difference, and it didn´t take long.

Have to add that I always take a tablespoon of fish oil and eat other fats every day.

The sweet almond oil can be purchased via http://www.iherb.com (118 ml) or (473 ml)  for an affordable price.
The manuals and my pilates ball are screaming for my attention. I wish you a super day.
