Olympiastadion

If you are a soccer fan(atic) like myself, Olympiastadion located in Berlin is a must. Due to the historical grounds that offers reflection and knowledge. The 1936 Summer Olympics took place here. Adolf Hitler(National Socialist German Workers Party) had been Reichskanzler for a little over three and half years, when athletes competed for medals.

An international debate arose whether Berlin should host the games, United States for instance contemplated a boycott, but accepted. To learn more about the games go here.     Olympiastadion is now the home of the soccer team Hertha BSC. Take U2 from Zoologischer Garten, Potsdamer Platz or Alexanderplatz (or any other U2 station) to Olympia-Stadion.
