Muffin Tin

Devoured a couple of delicious kladdkakemuffins yesterday, kladdkakemuffins a Swedish speciality. You can vary between muffins and a plain cake, tastes equally sweet. Kladdkakemuffins are kinda like brownies, living in Sweden for a period I learned to appreciate kladdkaka (the cake version). Held onto the moist cake since it´s perfect and quick to make. Craving something sweet at 11PM for instance? No worries, this is just the kind of cake/muffin I resort to. Modest in ingredients and gentle on the clock.

The recipe (ca 15) 100 grams melted butter – 2 eggs – 2 1/2 dl sugar – 2 dl flour – 1 tsp vanilla sugar – 1 pinch of salt – 4 tbsp cocoa powder – 1/2 baking soda

Set the oven at 200 degrees. Place baking cups on a baking sheet (or in a muffin tin). Break the eggs in a bowl and mix the dry ingredients, stirring with a spatula. Mix in the melted butter lastly, make sure the batter is properly mixed. Pour the baking cups 2/3 with batter. Place them in the middle of the oven for about 8-10 minutes. Cool off afterwards. I ate mine with a spoon. Tove Lo is wonderful too. Stay high on sugar.
